Newborn Photo Shoot
This past Wednesday, the photographer from our maternity shoot came over to take Jamie's newborn photos. The little one did SO well during the long photo shoot and we cannot wait to see all the photos. Check out the sneak peek of the photos here!
Picture Overload
James is a little over two weeks old and I think I have almost maxed out my memory card on my camera with pictures of the little guy! Here are some of our favorites:
first car ride home
modeling my awesome football shoes
asleep with his mouth open
he always looks so cute when he falls asleep after eating!
I call this his "thinking" pose
little baby hands
so alert!
hi there!
Mommy and Jamie
Holding his hands together
Jamie's first stroller ride around the neighborhood
Jamie's first bath (which he did NOT like!)
Thank goodness bath time is over!
Hanging out on his play mat
His shirt says it all...
He loves his car outfit! (Thanks Grandma Sharon!)

The Finished Nursery
At this point, I think it is safe to say that the nursery is finally complete! Everything is hung up, put away and organized as it should be.
After months of picturing the room in my head, looking online for inspiration and finally seeing it come to life - I am quite happy with how it turned out!
Below are some photos for your viewing pleasure:

A Letter
To Our Dearest Baby James,
Your nursery is complete. Your clothes are washed. Your crib is ready to go. The baby monitor is set up. The hospital bags are packed. The car seat is in the car.
You can come now.
You do not need to wait for your due date. We do not mind if you show up early.
Please.
We love you so much that we cannot wait to meet you!
Love,
Mom and Dad
Baby Clothes
I should not be allowed to shop online.
I just happened to be on the GAP/Old Navy website early today and decided to take a quick peek at the baby boy clothes section. That was a bad idea. Now, all I can think about is all the adorable baby boy summer clothes that I want to buy little James!
While we have a bunch of onesies and other cute outfits for James when he is wearing 0-3 months sizes, we are lacking on some 3-6 month outfits. We have a few - but he is going to need a lot more clothes for that period of his life as he will be heading off to daycare and taking a week long trip to Mexico!
Here are some of the clothes I plan to buy the little guy (as soon as they go on sale!):
plaid overall shorts
plaid cargo shorts (just like his daddy wears!)
cargo shorts
plaid swim trunks
monster swim trunks
Are these not just the cutest baby clothes you have ever seen?? I predict that I will be spending a lot of money in the future on buying clothes for this kiddo. :)
