Summer
It is starting to feel like summer here in Austin. It has been creeping into the 90's and in honor of the heat, James decided to break out some of his summer clothes and try on his beach hat!

3 Months Old
Today, James is three months old!
James weighs about 12 pounds now, is about 24/25 inches long and wears size 1 diapers. He mostly wears size 0-3 month clothes, but some are getting a tad bit snug and will soon be put away. Our little man is getting bigger and bigger by the day...
Changes, Changes, Changes
A LOT of changes have been going on in our life.
James is growing up and turning into a little man.
In the past few weeks, James has outgrown the baby bathtub sling, the newborn napper where he slept and just now, the newborn insert on the car seat!
Now when we do tummy time, he can hold his head up and look around for such a long time! He is getting so strong!
He also loves to chill in his bumbo chair...
I wish I could say that the sleeping has gotten better - but it has not. He still is waking up during the night to eat and usually sleeps for about 4-5 hour stretches.
The biggest change is that I am now back to work and Jamie gets to go to daycare Monday-Friday. Luckily, a brand new daycare facility opened up right down the street from us and it is SO nice. As much as I hate leaving the little man every day, I know that daycare will be a good experience for him as he will get to interact with other babies and have the opportunity for new experiences.

Back to Work
Today is my first day back to work after 12 glorious weeks with my little man.
I sure do miss him today.
I miss his baby soft skin, the sweet smiles he gives me, the way he falls asleep in my arms with his little mouth open and the precious time we had together.
I am counting the hours till I get to go home and hold my little boy...
